GIS together with Grasshopper plug-in was introduced as a way for
geographical data handling and analysis in the course. The site that I was assigned to is Sham Chung in Northern Sai Kung , a SSSI (Sites of Special Scientific Interest) in Hong Kong.
This project aims to investigate the changes of wetland ecology in the Sham
Chung region since 1997 to reflect upon impacts brought upon by development and also the effectiveness of preservation work at this site.
