Having learned Grasshopper in this course, the project that we then
have to work on is to consider imitating natural systems as a way to design.
In my project, I first made drawings and models of spider web lighting and
funnel spider webs in a parametric way. I then decided to go further with the structure of the funnel spider web and did drawings and models with help of Grasshopper scripts and Rhinoceros 3D.
Towards the end of the course, we were to translate the nature inspired form into reality and I took the funnel form and re-imagined it as a pavilion with different degrees of openings.
