Internship at Architectural Services Department

During the summer of 2019, I did an internship at the Architectural
Services Department of Hong Kong and mainly worked with the design team of the Tseung Kwan O Town Park cum Car park Project. The project was at Phase I
when i joined and so the design was still not fixed yet. One of the concepts that I worked on incorporates the strategy of “Sponge City” as the park locates
at waterfront and flooding is an issue. The design creates sunken areas in the park for catching the flood that comes in while making use of the sunken spaces for recreation when they dried.
