In the project, we were to choose one of the stonewall trees at Forbes Street
in Kennedy Town. We then have to take the qualities of the tree we have chosen in designing a structure at the site.
The pair of trees I have chosen are two trees growing together.
Unlike some other trees that compete for growth and end up having one growing bigger and one smaller, these two trees grow to similar sizes. And so I took this supporting quality of
the pair of trees and created an intertwining bench for visitors to have both public and private experiences at the space I created.
